Quinnovation uses a wide variety of models as tools to help solve problems. There are lots of reasons to do so, the primary one being that models are powerful tools. We use others, but we also create our own when necessary. Note that these aren't all we use, nor the only way we use them. Regardless, here are some of the models we have created:

Performance Ecosystem

This model is one way to think about what Quinnovation does, moving organizations up the eLearning Value Network.

Cognitive Apprenticeship
This model is based an enhanced version of cognitive apprenticeship, and is one tool to think about improving traditional instructional design.

Design for Doing

This is the model we call Design For Doing. It was the basis for the Learning at Large (PDF) article. It's useful for thinking beyond learning 'events' and taking a performance focus.

Environmental Scan

This model is useful in terms of thinking in a broader picture about the context we are designing for. Professor John Ittelson of CSUMB calls it an 'environmental scan'. It's one of the ways to think about broadening our channels.

Learning Object Reuse

This is about how we can resuse content, it's a way of being more integrated in our development.

Types and Modes

This is one way of thinking about how we can think about different knowledge types and delivery channels in a performance ecosystem.

Intelligent Architecture

And this final model is one way to think about what it would take to make a pro-active system for learning.

There's more here, but this might give you and idea of some of the resources we bring to bear.
